The Dubai Marathon 2025 announced two prominent partnerships with Guinness World Records and Xiaomi, in the 23rd edition, which is being held with the support of the Dubai Sports Council.
A press statement from the Dubai Sports Council said that the partnership concluded between Guinness World Records and the 2025 Dubai Marathon provides participants with a golden opportunity to enter the world by choosing records to break, whether through speed or through innovative ideas such as running in a uniform. The Dubai Marathon also announced its cooperation with Xiaomi as an official partner for the 2025 edition, in a move aimed at integrating technological innovation with a healthy lifestyle and enhancing the participants’ experience.
The marathon will be held on January 12, 2025, and the event will provide a distinguished platform that brings together athletes and amateurs from all over the world.
Guinness Senior Marketing Director, Shadi Jad, confirmed that this initiative aims to encourage the Emirati community to practice sports in an innovative way, and said: “This partnership comes as part of our societal commitment to encourage all members of society to practice sports and physical activity, and to publish their achievements through channels.” (Guinness World Records), and submission will be available for all participation requests without any fees, with the facilitation of approving records.”
