The Dubai Police team won the individual and team lead in the elite women’s cycling race, yesterday, in the Salam area in the Marmoum Reserve in Dubai, with the participation of 89 competitors from 27 different nationalities in the elite race within the seventh season of the Peace Cycling Championship, which is organized by the office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum – Procurement and Finance.
The 137-kilometer race was held within the Marmoom Reserve area, which has a charming nature and rare animals. The prizes for the race amounted to 735 thousand dirhams, as Olga Shekel from the Dubai Police team won first place, and won a financial prize of 150 thousand dirhams, followed by Renata Sultanova from the Dubai Police team in second place.
