The Dubai Sports Council announced that the French, Saudi and Turkmenistan futsal teams have entered training camps in Dubai, in preparation for the Futsal World Cup, which will be held in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6, with the participation of 24 teams. The council said in a statement that the Jordanian national football team under 20 years of age is also holding its training camp in Dubai, during the period from the 14th to the 21st of this month, in preparation for the Asian Youth Cup qualifiers, where it will play a number of friendly matches. The Jordanian team looks forward, through this camp, to achieving the highest levels of preparation, to qualify for the 2025 Asian Cup in China.
The Bahraini Al-Riffa Al-Sharqi team is also holding its training camp at Al-Wasl Club, in preparation for the upcoming competitions with ambitions and hopes to appear better in the new sports season 2024-2025.
The statement stressed that in terms of team sports, there are a number of Saudi volleyball and basketball teams in Dubai, where the Saudi Al-Hilal team, the Saudi Premier League title holder for volleyball, and the Saudi Al-Nasr volleyball team are holding their training camp in preparation for the new sports season that will start in the Kingdom on the 14th of this month. The Saudi Al-Fateh basketball team is also holding its training camp at the Emirati Al-Nasr Club in Dubai, in preparation for the new season that will start next October. These teams will play a number of friendly matches with local clubs.
