Lucknow. A special plantation campaign was organized by Durga Swaroopa Foundation, in which a large number of members participated. The aim of this plantation campaign is to protect the environment and maintain a green environment. The members of the foundation together planted hundreds of trees in Sector 8 Daavan Yojna, Lucknow, which included fruit and shade trees.
On this occasion, Durga Swaroopa Foundation secretary Ragini Srivastava said, “Our aim is not only to plant trees but also to take care of and protect them. We have to create a clean and healthy environment for the coming generations.” During this, foundation president Prashant Singh, vice president Rajesh Tiwari, joint secretary Vijay Laxmi, treasurer Akshay Agarwal and other members Deepti Agarwal, Tushar Srivastava, Shatakshi Gupta were present.
The active participation of the foundation members, local people and a large number of school students made this program a success. In future also, the foundation will organize more such plantation campaigns so that awareness about the environment increases in the society and nature can be protected.
In the end, the foundation appealed to everyone to take part in this initiative and plant as many trees as possible (plantation campaign) so that our earth remains green and pollution free. Mainly present in the program were Garden Superintendent Municipal Corporation Shashikant and members Ajay Laxmi, Anita Tiwari, Rita Nath, Sarita Bajpai etc. were present in large numbers.
