New Delhi. There was a heated debate among the lawyers in the Delhi High Court on the bail plea of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia. Justice Swarnakanta Sharma heard the bail plea of Manish Sisodia in both the CBI and ED cases related to the excise case.
During this, lawyer Dayan Krishnan appeared on behalf of Manish Sisodia and presented his arguments. Advocate Dayan Krishnan said that as per the trial court’s observations, there was a concerted effort on the part of the accused to delay the trial. I ask, what is the basis of this? Meanwhile, ED lawyer Zuhaib Hussain said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will also be made an accused in this case and a supplementary charge sheet will be filed.

Manish Sisodia’s lawyer further said that on December 6, 2023, the ED filed an application to record 540 pages of documents. The application was filed more than a year after the first complaint and four months after the fourth supplementary chargesheet. Now the sixth supplementary charge sheet has been filed, but what was discussed were the applications of all the accused persons. There has been no progress in this case.
Opposing the bail plea of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the money laundering and CBI case related to the Delhi Excise Policy scam, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) informed the Delhi High Court that the ED Will make Aam Aadmi Party an accused in the case.
