Jaipur: “Central Government is actively working to empower all communities in the country,” said Prime Minister Modi.
The 1111th anniversary of Sri Devnarayan’s incarnation in Rajasthan state was held yesterday in a village in Malassery district. Belonging to the Gurjat community, he is worshiped as a deity in states like Rajasthan, parts of MP and Gujarat. Prime Minister Modi visited Malassery district on his Jayanti. In the program organized there, Prime Minister Modi said:
Social empowerment has played a very important role in India’s journey over the past thousands of years. In that way, the BJP-led central government is continuously working to provide social empowerment to all the communities in the country. Priority is given to the social empowerment of the downtrodden, especially the downtrodden.
The central government has taken various initiatives to empower every marginalized and weak community in the society. Giving them priority is our mantra. India is not an ordinary country with huge population. India embodies all of our civilization, culture, religious harmony and talent. We can be proud of our heritage. We have to come out of the slave mentality. We must remember our duty for the development of the country. The Prime Minister spoke thus.
