The Egyptian Football Association confirmed on Thursday that the Confederation of African Football responded to its request and amended the date of Egypt’s matches against Guinea and Ethiopia in the 2023 African Nations Cup qualifiers next month.
At the request of Egypt, the Confederation decided to hold Egypt’s matches in the first and second rounds of Group D qualifiers against Guinea and Ethiopia on the fifth and ninth of next June, respectively.
The two matches were scheduled to take place on the second and sixth of June, before Cairo requested a postponement.
