Al-Hamriyah Club announced the signing of citizen coach Eid Barot to lead the first team in the current season of the First Division League, succeeding Romanian Elie Stan, who was sacked due to the team’s modest results, which led it to be in the bottom positions of the standings. Eid Barot has previously trained several local teams: Al-Jazira Al-Hamra, Al-Dhafra, Al-Nasr, Al-Wasl, Al-Emirates, Al-Shaab, Al-Fujairah, and Dibba Al-Fujairah, in addition to Al-Hamriyah, his ninth training station, in addition to training the national team for juniors and youth.
The contract with the coach was announced in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriya, Hamid Hassan Al Shamsi, and Barot’s contract extends for two seasons, starting with the preparation for the 10th round against Masfout.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Club, Humaid Al Shamsi, confirmed that the contract with Barot comes from a number of considerations, most important of which is his experience and achievements, as well as the support of national cadres. He thanked Eli Stan for his period with the club, wishing him success in his coaching career.
