Eid holiday; Dubai police provide heavy security

DUBAI: Dubai police have beefed up security during the festive season. 3200 policemen will be deployed in various parts of Dubai to provide security. It has been decided to conduct police patrols in 412 teams. Safety measures have been put in place to protect passengers in the event of an accident during the start of the holiday celebrations. A total of 62 vehicles and 122 ambulances have been deployed in the country.

There will be a police force in mosques and Eidgahs. Police will intervene to avoid traffic jams in cities. A total of 442 paramedics have been deployed in various parts of the city. Security is provided at beaches and parks. It has been decided to deploy nine boats and 165 lifeguards to see if there are any accidents. In addition, 2400 security guards and 650 volunteers from private companies will be recruited. The most visited places in the tourist area will have strong patrolling.
