Eighty percent of the Dutch are ‘not really or not at all’ prepared for flooding

More than eighty percent of the Dutch indicate that they are not really, or even not at all, prepared for a flood. This is according to research by the Red Cross. Only four percent of all respondents think that the chance that their own home will be partially flooded in the next ten years is high. The aid organization calls the figures ‘worrying’.
