England and Mumbai Indians fast bowler Jofra Archer has reportedly gone to Belgium for minor elbow surgery. Similarly, another English cricketer Jonny Bairstow has recovered from injury and scored 97 runs off 88 balls.
In the current IPL season, Archer has played 2 matches for Mumbai Indians and has taken only 1 wicket. In this context he seems to have traveled to Belgium to undergo minor surgery on his right elbow. It is also reported that he will return to the field in the upcoming match against Rajasthan on 30th.
England’s Jonny Bairstow, who was injured while playing golf last September, seems to have recovered from the injury. He has been participating in local cricket matches to stay fit for the upcoming Ashes series. Recovering from a leg injury, he scored an 88-ball 97 for Yorkshire’s second XI against Nottinghamshire. It included 13 fours and two sixes.
