Delhi: Power consumption in India peaked twice in a single day yesterday (Apr.29), according to the Central Electricity Board.
The heat is increasing day by day in various countries of India. Thermal winds are blowing in many states where the Agni Veil has not yet begun. Due to this the use of electricity is increasing. Despite the power cuts in many states due to coal shortages, electricity usage is on the rise.
In this situation, the use of electricity in India has reached an all-time high of 2 times in a single day yesterday. At 2.35 pm yesterday, a maximum of 2,04,653 MW of electricity was used in India.

Fifteen minutes later, at 2.50 pm, 2,07,111 MW of electricity was used, according to the Federal Ministry of Power.
