the famous singer Elton John postponed his concerts in the United States after testing positive for the COVID-19. The British star was disappointed to break the news to his thousands of followers, who were waiting to hear him perform his famous songs.

The 74-year-old singer issued a statement in reference to the postponement of the two shows in Dallas, Texas, which were scheduled for January 25 and 26. In addition, about his contagion, Elton John mentioned that he has mild symptoms.

Regarding the postponement of their concerts, Elton John and the American Airlines Center in Dallas, where the shows would take place, said they will be rescheduled and fans should keep their tickets.

“It is always a huge disappointment to postpone shows and I am so sorry to anyone who has been affected by this, but I want to keep myself and my team safe. Fortunately, I am fully vaccinated and booster vaccinated, and my symptoms are mild.”

Elton said he hoped to be healthy enough to play his next show on January 29 in Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition, the singer’s tour had started in September 2018, but had to be suspended in March 2020 due to the pandemic. It was on January 19 that he returned to the stage to perform in New Orleans, shortly after undergoing hip surgery.
