The skydiving star played the air hostess
Sky diving star Nicole Ludwig Smith played the air hostess in the commercial. From the top of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building at 828 meters, disguised as Emirates’ traditional cabin crew, they shared the message ‘Fly Emirates Above the World’ through placards. They climbed the stairs for an hour from the 160th floor of Burj Khalifa. The picture of them with placards was taken from a helicopter.
Britain’s decision has reached the top of the world
The ad celebrates Britain’s easing of travel restrictions following its transfer to the UAE’s amber list. They are displaying placards reading Fly Emirates and Fly Better, along with a placard that looks like it has reached the top of the world as it moves to the amber list. The ad video, posted on Emirates’ official Twitter account, was viewed by millions of people within minutes.
Advertising video original or fake
But in the advertising video, people came to the scene with doubts as to whether the Emirates air hostess standing above Burj Khalifa was original or fake. Many have questioned whether this was counterfeit through any digital means, such as Greenscreen. The airline then released a video of the behind-the-scenes video showing how the ad was shot. This video shows you how to stand on top of a tall building. The video also shows them hooking up to their waists to prevent them from falling if they slip or fall from the top of the building.
