Srinagar. PM Narendra Modi is on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, where he will address a huge rally. Before PM Modi’s rally, an encounter is going on between the army and terrorists at two places (Baramulla and Kishtwar) in Jammu and Kashmir. The army has killed three terrorists in Baramulla so far. While on Friday, two soldiers were martyred in Kishtwar and two soldiers are injured.
The army and police are conducting a joint operation at both the places. According to the information received, the encounter started at around 11 pm on Friday night in Chak Tapper area of Kreeri in Baramulla district. The operation was stopped late at night. This morning the security forces killed three terrorists. However, the terrorists have not been identified yet.
On the other hand, a heavy encounter between the army and terrorists is going on since Saturday morning in Kishtwar of Jammu region. Actually, Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces are conducting a joint search operation. In this operation, two soldiers were martyred in the firing from both sides in Kishtwar on Friday. Also, two soldiers were injured. The army had received intelligence about the presence of three terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, the soldiers of Rising Star Corps had killed two terrorists in Kathua. During this, a large quantity of weapons were recovered from the terrorists. Whereas the security forces had killed 3 terrorists in Udhampur on 11 September. The army said that the soldiers of the First Para of the Army had received information about 2-3 terrorists hiding in the forests of Khandra Top in Udhampur. The terrorists were killed after an encounter that lasted for about four hours.
