The axes of the workshop reviewed many topics presented by game experts related to the development of women’s football activity in the member federations, which included an explanation from Houriya Al Tahri, coach of the UAE women’s team, and Noura Al Mazrouei, the former goalkeeper of our national team, about the achievements witnessed by Emirati women’s football at the levels of local competitions. and national teams.
Al Tahri and Al Mazrouei talked about the women’s national team’s agenda for the coming period 2022-2023, which is in line with the vision of the UAE Football Association 2038, as well as the importance of female players experiencing external professionalism to gain the necessary skills and experience, and encouraging Emirati professional clubs to form women’s football teams to attract more players. And activating the agreements and memoranda of cooperation signed between the Football Association and other federations, especially the items related to women’s football, which is a good opportunity to exchange experiences.
