Bukayo Saka scored three goals to lead England to its fourth successive victory by crushing its home country, North Macedonia 7-0, and tightening its grip on the top of Group C in the European Football Championship qualifiers on Monday.
Captain Harry Kane scored his goals 57 and 58 for England, and Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford and Calvin Phillips scored at Old Trafford in a match that England completely dominated.
England is taking confident steps towards the finals hosted by Germany next year, where it has 12 points, after its previous victories over Ukraine, Italy and Malta.
Saka opened the scoring with a powerful shot in the 38th minute, then added his second goal less than two minutes after the break when he received a ball with his chest and hit it directly into the goal.
The Arsenal winger completed the hat-trick after being assisted by Kane and was hugged by England manager Gareth Southgate after coming off minutes later.
England plays against Ukraine on the ninth of September, while North Macedonia, which won two matches and lost the same, plays against Italy.
Ukraine ranks second with six points from three matches, while Italy has three points from two matches.
