He has been charged with attempted murder, criminal conspiracy and possession of a weapon. He entered the US from India two years ago at the age of 17 using a fake passport.
Kadian is reportedly a member of the Babinha group in the US, which is opposed to Canadian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The media also reported that Qadian was particularly skilled in the use of weapons.
Babinha group is reported to have close links with several Khalistani terrorist organizations.
Qadian’s house and hideouts in India were raided by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to probe his Khalistani links. Interpol has also announced a reward of 1.5 lakh rupees for those who provide information about gangs.
A red corner notice is a request to detain Qadian in member states of Interpol pending his extradition or surrender.
Earlier, Interpol had issued a red corner notice against another Himanshu alias Bhanu. It is reported that he is also out of the country.
Their stated aim is to reduce the dominance of the Lawrence Bishnoi group in the US and Canada. They are doing activities for this.
Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in Ahmedabad Jail. He has been arrested in a drug smuggling case being investigated by the NIA. Bishnoi is also an accused in the case of murder of singer Sidhu Mooswala.
