The situation around Ukraine provoked panic in European countries due to the flow of refugees. This statement was made on Sunday, June 5, by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the congress of the ruling Justice and Development Party.
Erdogan noted that Turkey has been successfully coping with illegal migration from Syria for 11 years, while Europe is experiencing panic due to a special operation to protect Donbass.
“We pray that the world will come out of the critical period it is going through as soon as possible,” he said during a speech broadcast by Turkey’s Anadoly agency on its YouTube channel.
Erdogan also noted that the system created by the West to ensure its own security and well-being is being destroyed.
