Ernesto Pimentel on fatherhood: “It is the greatest challenge of my life”
The creator of the Chola Chabuca, Ernesto Pimentel, has become an important and beloved character on Peruvian television. He has worked hard to make a name for himself, but no achievement in his life compares to becoming a father with his best friend, with whom he made the decision to have his firstborn and heir.
In an interview, the comic actor told details of the whole process of being a father and how life has changed with the arrival of his first child. All this because, for the program that will be released on December 25, they recorded a sketch staging the birth in which their little one played the role of the baby Jesus, although he ended up running away and running throughout the set.
In that sense, Ernesto Pimentel said that his minor “is two years and five months” old. “It is the biggest challenge of my life. I am very grateful to God for the moment I’m going through watching Gael grow up and that excites me because there are many challenges that arise ”.

In addition, he stressed that his son has a complicity with the camera because “he is a child who is not scared by the noise, in the circus he always played and when he goes to the channel he is surprised by the lights, he likes to sing a lot. He lifts me up to accompany him to play and that motivates me. I am learning to love beautifully with Gael, with great respect for both Miluska (his son’s mother) and him, and I just want to thank God for so much. I only wish good and happiness for everyone ”.
Finally, Ernesto Pimentel wished for parties “that Peruvians are vaccinated, that we are more responsible, respectful of each other, and that our artistic field is lifted.”

The actor Ernesto Pimentel attended the program The Artist of the Year to give his opinion as a jury and to rate the participation of the four contestants who reached the final of the dance reality show; however, there was a presentation that got all his praise.
Therefore, after the performance by Daniela Darcourt and César Vega, he stated: “While we celebrated the art and talent of musicians and dancers and I saw these lights, I thought about who we are doing it for. And when you think about that, I feel that it is a privilege to be an artist and above all to share this opportunity to communicate. I’m thankful. How good I felt! ”.

On World Day to Fight AIDS, the artist Ernesto Pimentel told his story with HIV and the whole process he went through to achieve the tranquility that he now enjoys. During his testimony, he confessed that not everything has been as it is today; Since, during his process, he has suffered discrimination due to people’s ignorance.
In this sense, he advised the following: “We should not use the word carrier, but rather a person who has HIV. Many years ago it was very expensive, difficult to have access to treatments. Therefore, the possibilities of life were very complicated, but today the level of hope is different if a diagnosis is made in time, with this we will be able to set all the goals and achieve them ”.
