Dissident leader Eknath Shinde has lashed out at CM Uddhav Thackeray for making sensational allegations against an MLA who escaped from the camp. Osmanabad MLA Kailash Patil said that many MLAs are joining the Eknath category due to pressure. He said he escaped from the hotel. He made sensational remarks that he had conspired to assassinate him.
Kailash Patil said that Eknath Shinde had invited him to dinner at a hotel in Thane on June 20. He said he came to know that some MLAs were being shifted to Surat in cars after dinner. He then escaped and got out. ‘Walk for kilometers. Afterwards, a biker asked for a lift and reached the Chief Minister’s residence, ‘said Patil. Kailash Patil has made it clear that they will stand by CM Uddhav Thackeray no matter what the decision is.
Two days ago, another MLA, Nitin Deshmukh, alleged that he had been kidnapped and forcibly taken to Gujarat. He said he escaped from them and came to Mumbai. He made it clear that his support was for Uddhav Thackeray.
‘Eknath Shinde misled me and took me to Surat. I got out of the hotel knowing the real thing when I got there. But, I was stopped by the police. I was forcibly taken to the hospital as I had a heart attack. After that there were conspiracies to assassinate me. Tried to give something injection. How did I escape from them and reach Mumbai, ‘said Nitin Deshmukh.
