After this, the family members created a ruckus by keeping the dead body outside the registered mascot hospital located on Thandi road in the city. The rioting family members have accused the hospital doctors of causing the death due to wrong injection.
The entire incident took place at Mascot Hospital located on Thandi Road in Kotwali Nagar police station area. 60-year-old Puttu Khan, son of Wali Mohammad, resident of Kurawali of Mainpuri district, who reached the Medical College Emergency on Friday afternoon, was declared dead by the doctors. As soon as the old man was declared dead in the emergency, there was an uproar among the family members. After that, the family members of the deceased took his body to the Mascot Hospital located on Thandi Road. Where there was a huge uproar by keeping the dead body outside the hospital.
Saddam Hussain, son of deceased Puttu Khan, who was creating ruckus, told that he had admitted his father to the hospital (Mascot Hospital) on December 18 due to stomach problem. Where even after two days of treatment, he did not get any benefit. After this, on Friday he asked the doctors to refer his father elsewhere. On which the doctor asked to pay for the treatment. He went to the counter to pay. During this time the doctor gave an injection to his father.
His condition deteriorated after the injection. After this, he took him to the Medical College Emergency in critical condition. Where the doctors declared him dead. On the other hand, information about the uproar was given to the police on number 112. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and calmed down the rioting family members by persuading them.
