Member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Football Company and Head of the Technical Committee, Ali Thani, said that the club is in the process of contracting with a group of players to fill the vacancies, in consultation with the team’s coach, Romanian Olario Cosmin, stressing that they are working in agreement with the coach regarding the team’s needs, confirming that everything in the Sharjah Football Company is done with the coach’s knowledge.
Ali Thani’s statements came in response to the recent press statements of coach Cosmin, in which he said: “I heard that there is a new player coming to the team, and that he does not know about this matter, as he is not very important in the club, and there is no problem in this regard, because the more players they have, the more options there are.”
Ali Thani said in statements to Sharjah Sports Channel: “Nothing is done without the coach’s knowledge and approval.”
He added: “Cosmin is a smart man who knows what he is talking about, and we hope to renew his contract for the coming years.
