Expenditure Rs 55,000 Crore; The World's First Robotic Park In Muscat

Muscat: The world’s first robotic park in Muscat. The park, known as the Sandy Valley Robotics, is estimated to cost $ 55,000 million. The government of Oman has set aside 868 acres of land for the first phase of the park alone. When the robotic park is completed, the park and allied facilities will be located on 8788 acres in several phases.

The activities of the park were initiated in collaboration with various countries. Technical assistance from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and Taiwan is also available at Sandy Valley Park. The Government of Oman has announced three years of tax breaks and other benefits for investors, companies and researchers visiting Sandy Valley Park.

On May 15, the Government of Oman met with Sheikh Moshin, Chairman and Managing Director of Sandy Valley Robotics Park. Biju John also signed the contract. Sheikh Fahad (Government of Oman), Company Director Benny Thomas, Khalid Obaid and Abdul Aziz were present at the time. The hotel, theme park and researchers are all in Sandy Valley Park.
