Dutch potatoes that are cut into fries have doubled in price in a year and a half. Prices are rising due to the dry summer and rising demand. This leads to higher prices for fries from the snack bar or from your own deep-fat fryer. And that while sellers do not even fully pass on the expensive beeper, Nu.nl reports.
