A burst occurred in a brandy factory in the community of San José Obrero, located in the municipality of Comitán de Domínguez, Chiapas and which left a balance of five people with first and second degree burns.
According to initial reports, the fire broke out while a welder was workingand a spark hit a storage tank, causing the burst.
At the scene, teams of Civil protection and the Mexican Red Crosswho were responsible for providing medical care to the injured people.
These people were immediately transferred to a hospital in Comitán to receive specialized care.
Until now, the Regional Center for Civil Protection and Firefighters (CRPCyB) is located in the place carrying out control tasks on the incident.
