Director of Transport Center (ITC) Ateeq Al Mazrui said that it has been decided to hold the festival as a part of the Green Bus project. It was found that 3.7 tons of carbon pollution can be reduced every day with e-buses completing 520 km daily service. The planning department said that this activity will be moved to more areas in the future. The goal is to reduce carbon emissions by more than 9000 tons by running electric bus service for a distance of 3150 km per day.

The authorities are conducting daily monitoring and checks on them. Every year studies and surveys are conducted and things are evaluated. In 1998, Dubai announced the first environmental protection zones in the city. Rasal Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and Jebel Ali Wildlife Sanctuary have been prepared in this way in Dubai. Dubai announced six more protected areas in 2014. All protected areas in the desert are now under close surveillance.
