Exports grow by more than 50% in Oman

Oman: Exports to Oman increase by more than 50 percent Between 2021-22, the growth was 55.9 percent. Increasing exports will lead to an increase in the country’s revenue. With this, the country is heading towards a new economic revival.

The figures were released by the National Statistics Office. Last year, the country exported goods worth 17.145 billion riyals. 10.03 billion riyals was exported from gas. Non-oil exports were estimated at 5.79 billion riyals. The country earned 1.32 billion riyals from re-exports.

Revenue from exports of oil and non-oil products this year was higher than last year. In January 2021, it was 724.8 million riyals, but this year the revenue from oil and gas is 1.15 billion riyals. Non-oil exports rose to 626.8 million in January this year. Oman’s non-oil exports earned 1.235 billion riyals last year. Exports of metals and metal products generated revenue of Rs 1.327 billion. Of the minerals exported, 843 million riyals and plastic products were worth 890.5 million riyals.
