New Delhi: Prime Minister Modi is actively campaigning in the state of Chhattisgarh where the assembly elections will be held.
In a public meeting there, Prime Minister Modi said yesterday: Congress hates poor people who have self-respect and confidence. The Congress wants the poor to always be in front of them and the poor to remain poor. Therefore, the Congress government here is blocking the schemes launched by the central government for the poor.
The Congress is talking bad about the Prime Minister and the OBC community. I am not afraid of it. Congress indulging in corrupt activities gives importance only to financial gains.
You have tolerated the injustice and corruption of Congress rule in the last 5 years. Only 30 days left. Then you will get rid of this problem. The central government has decided to extend the free ration scheme for another 5 years. This will benefit 80 crore people in the country. Prime Minister Modi spoke thus.
The decision to extend the free ration scheme for another 5 years was taken in the recent Union Cabinet meeting. It is said to be a New Year gift for poor people.
Under the National Food Security Act, Anthyothaya Anna Yojana families were provided with 35 kg of rice or wheat per month at subsidized rates. Prime Minister’s Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana scheme was introduced during the Corona pandemic in 2020 and provided free food grains.
The central government merged the scheme with the National Food Security Scheme. 81.35 crore people will be benefited as the central government’s free ration scheme continues for the next 5 years.
