When no representative of the administration came to listen to their problems for a long time, a crowd of hundreds of angry farmers and villagers sat on a dharna and sounded the alarm of an indefinite strike against the Murli Krishna Chakori Factory. Villagers and farmers said that due to the dirty waste and water released from the Chakori factory, today the water and air of about half a dozen nearby villages has become polluted and poisonous and ash is coming out day and night from the burning chimney of the factory.
