Masafi coach Fahd Ali bin Abboud confirmed that the team participating in the first division is in the process of hiring four players in the upcoming winter transfer period, to fill the vacancies it suffers from, stressing that Masafi is eagerly awaiting the next registration period.
Bin Aboud told “Emirates Today”: “We are looking forward to contracting with players who are able to fill the vacancies in the team in the category of foreign striker and birth player, in addition to citizens who are able to achieve the required technical addition.”
He stressed that the Masafi Club’s board of directors is looking at all options at the present time, and that the distinguished efforts being made in this aspect deserve thanks and appreciation, and he continued: “Our goal is to achieve positive results and occupy a position in the middle of the ranking.”
It is noteworthy that coach Fahd bin Aboud previously represented the UAE youth team in the 1997 World Cup in Malaysia, and trained in the junior stages of Khorfakkan Club. Masafi is 14th in the First Division League with six points after 11 rounds of the competition.
