Instead of roses, they prefer to give out violets!
This will be THE Bachelor fight of the year. On Saturday (November 4th) the popular Rose Cavaliers will be rising Andrej Mangold (36) and Sebastian Pannek (37) into the boxing ring and clench their fists.
BILD will broadcast the boxing spectacle live from 6:30 p.m. – Here you can sign up.
Putting together the Bachelor duel was a challenge. Why it almost failed? Suitable opponents had to be found and there were conditions that the Rosenkavaliers themselves set.
Organizer Eugen Lopez reveals in the BILD interview: “Organizing a bachelor fight was not easy at all. We have little selection of bachelors. It feels like you have ten guys and if they aren’t compatible in terms of weight class, quite a few of them will be dropped.”

And further: “Of course there are many who talk big but don’t have the balls to go into the ring. Andrei accepted the fight without much discussion. He was just up for a sporting challenge and said: ‘Get me some bachelor who is in my weight class and who has no previous experience.’ That was very important to Andrej because he had never boxed himself.”

Finding a suitable opponent among the few ex-Bachelors was the next hurdle. Sebastian Pannek actually had a turn at the time of the fight, but according to Eugen, he hesitated as to whether he could really compete.
“Sebastian thought it through carefully and then said: ‘Honestly, we’re about the same age and we know each other privately.’ The two also had a disagreement. And then he accepted the fight and the Bachelor fight was there,” said Eugen.

What he means by the discrepancies: Andrej Mangold took part in the “Summer House of the Stars” with his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lange (30) three years ago. There he received a lot of hate and a career blow because of his polarizing behavior.

DAS is particularly critical of Sebastian, BILD recently explained about his fight commitment: “My opponent behaved really badly towards other people and the whole of Germany saw it. He failed in his role model function as a TV celebrity and disappointed many people, including me, with qualities such as ice-cold calculation and manipulation. But in Fame Fighting he will feel the consequences.”
Andrej Mangold (center) didn’t make any fans in 2020 by taking part in the “Summer House of the Stars”.
Ouch, the words probably resonate deeply with Andrej. He praised his opponent to BILD, saying: “He’s a handsome guy, also in the modeling field. That means: There are certain parallels and I therefore believe that he is also a sporty guy who tries to prepare as best as he can.”
