FatMan Scoop’s family shared an emotional message on Instagram mourning the loss of such a brilliant figure as the renowned artist. The statement confirmed that the tragic event took place during the Green and Gold Party, a short distance from New Haven. “FatMan Scoop was known for being the undisputed voice of the nightclubs. His music made us dance and embrace life in a positive way,” the statement said.
