Indian agencies have started hunting down gangsters hiding abroad. Delhi Police’s Special Cell, set up to crack down on gangsters, has arrested Lawrence Gang gangster Deepak Boxer in Mexico. Deepak Boxer, a wanted criminal in extortion and murder cases, has been apprehended in Mexico with the help of FBI and Interpol.
Delhi Police officials told that the process of bringing the gangster to India has been completed and will bring him to India soon. Gangster Deepak Boxer, a resident of Haryana’s Gannaur, was absconding in several extortion cases including the murder of Amit Gupta, a builder in Delhi’s Civil Lines. The Delhi Police had declared a reward of Rs 3 lakh on him.

Took over the throne by killing his own teacher
With the help of his mentor Jitendra Gogi, Deepak had become a boxer gangster and later got him murdered. Gangster Jitendra Gogi was killed by Deepak Boxer in September 2021 by firing bullets in public at Rohini court. After this, he became the head of the Gogi gang by sitting on the throne of his master. It was Deepak who had made Gogi escape from the custody of Haryana Police in 2016.
Mexico ran away on January 29
Gangster Lawrence lodged in Bathinda Jail and Deepak Boxer, the special person of gangster Goldie Brar sitting abroad, had fled abroad this year. Deepak Boxer fled to Mexico on January 29, 2023 by taking a flight from Kolkata on a forged passport. When the police came to know about Deepak being in Mexico, they started catching him with the help of FBI.
Lawrence wanted to run the network from abroad through Deepak
It was Lawrence who helped in sending Deepak Boxer abroad while in jail. It was with the help of Lawrence and Goldie Brar that Deepak made a fake passport at the address of Ravi’s son Manoj’s mother Saroj, resident of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
After this, Deepak Boxer reached Mexico by taking a flight from Kolkata. Lawrence wanted Deepak Boxer, whose Instagram handle was responsible for the murder of builder-hotelier Amit Gupta, to operate the gang from abroad.
