New Delhi: It has been announced that the 10th installment of financial assistance for farmers will be given from January 1.
The statement said, “In line with his commitment to empower grassroots farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 10th tranche of funding under the Prime Minister’s Farmer Honor Fund (BM-Kisan) on January 1, 2022 at 12.30 pm.
More than Rs 20,000 crore will benefit more than 10 crore farming families.
Under the BM-Kisan scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 / – per annum is being provided to eligible farming families.
It is paid once in 4 months at the rate of Rs. 2,000 in 3 installments per year.
These funds are released directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Over Rs 1.6 lakh crore has been disbursed to farming families under this scheme so far.
During the event, the Prime Minister will release over Rs 14 crore in equity grants to about 351 agri-production organizations. More than 1.24 lakh farmers will benefit from this.
During the event, the Prime Minister will address a gathering of members of agricultural production organizations and address the nation. The Union Minister of Agriculture is also attending the event. “
