Unlike other traffic fines, Metro Fine cannot be paid online. Instead, you have to go directly to some centers to pay. Either can be handed over to the inspector who imposes the fine. On Sundays to Thursdays, you can go to the Al Khalifa Happiness Center from 8am to 7.30pm and pay the fine. Here you have to pay an additional 20 dirhams as knowledge and innovation fee. Keep the ticket number on hand when paying the fine.
There are also ways to complain if you have a complaint about the fine you received. Complaints can be made by calling 8009090 directly or emailing email@example.com. You will need to provide details of the fine, the number of any identification document such as Emirates ID, passport and proof that your complaint is valid. Complaints must be made within 30 days of receipt of the fine.
