A man who turned himself in to the police for beating a box is now going viral on social media. The police took a fine of Rs 6000 from Mohd Mehtab at Thana Bhawan Police Station for not wearing a helmet. But what Mohd, who is also a lineman, did in retaliation is making social media laugh.
Mohd took revenge on the police by cutting off the electricity in the police station. Instead of collecting a fine of 2000 rupees, the police bought 6000 rupees from him. It is not clear why so much rupee was taken from him as fine. It is concluded that the lineman may have done this in retaliation for being overcharged without reason.
On Tuesday, the police fined Mohd for traveling without a helmet. Mohdin told the media that despite Kenu’s plea to the police that he would never break the law again, they refused to listen to him.
Later, an enraged Mohd Thanabhavan cut off the electricity connection to the police station.

According to the electricity department officials, there are different reasons for disconnecting the power line. Amitesh Maurya, a junior engineer in the electricity department, claims that the police station owed more than Rs 55,000 and this is the reason for cutting the electricity connection. Maurya was not ready to comment further on this incident.
Sub-Divisional Officer Pushp Dev said that the power cut was not revenge. Due to a fault in the line, the electricity connection was disconnected. Power supply resumed after some time. Anil Kumar Singh, SHO of Thanabhavan Police Station also claimed that the electricity connection was cut off only for a short time. This may have happened due to some technical problems, he said.
