The authorities of the Khabarovsk Territory will allocate 3.5 million rubles to strengthen fire safety measures in municipalities. The work will be carried out within the framework of the specialized state program “Protection of the population from fires and emergencies.”
Fire tanks are planned to be equipped in the village of Selikhino, as well as the villages of Duki, Sinda and Snezhny. In another 14 settlements, autonomous fire detectors will be installed in the homes of local residents, 500 thousand rubles have been allocated for this purpose. It is reported by IA AmurMedia. Sensors will appear in houses where about 1.8 thousand people live.
“With the advent of the cold season, the risk of fires in housing traditionally increases. People are starting to heat stoves, use electric heaters and other appliances, some of which are homemade, which aggravates the fire situation. In response, firefighters are intensifying preventive work – starting house-to-house walks, during which employees of the regional fire service hold consultations and hand out leaflets, ”the regional government noted.
Residents of the Khabarovsk Territory are urged to independently take measures to prevent fires. If a fire is detected, call 112 for help.
