At present, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha have been adjourned till 11 am on 27th November. Earlier, the winter session of Parliament was inaugurated at 11 am on Monday. After this the proceedings of Parliament (winter session) were started. But opposition MPs started creating ruckus in Lok Sabha regarding Manipur and other issues. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla appealed to the MPs to remain calm and cooperate in allowing the proceedings to run smoothly. But the Lok Sabha Speaker’s appeal had no effect on the creating ruckus. The uproar continued to increase.
In view of this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla adjourned the proceedings of the Lok Sabha till 11 am on November 27. Now the proceedings of the Lok Sabha will resume on November 29 at 11 am. Prime Minister Modi also reached the Lok Sabha on Monday, the first day of the winter session. Talking to journalists in the Parliament complex, PM Modi said that this message should also be sent from the Parliament of India that the voters of India, their dedication to democracy, their dedication to the Constitution, their faith in the parliamentary functioning system, we sitting in the Parliament Everyone will have to live up to public sentiments.
