Darshan Mehta is the current President and Managing Director of Reliance Brands, the largest company in the lifestyle & luxury market in India. A chartered accountant, he started his career as a senior executive at Trikaya Gray Advertising (which was acquired by British multinational communications company WPP). Darshan Mehta was behind the launch of sportswear brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Grant and Nautica in India in the early 2000s.

Darshan Mehta is a close aide of Isha Ambani, daughter of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani. He is paid 4.89 crores in Reliance Brand (estimated for financial year 2020-21). As per the data available at the end of the December 2022 quarter, Reliance Brand’s turnover was Rs 67,634 crore. The company’s net profit for the December quarter was 2,400 crores.
