First official frost of the autumn, warmer and gray again after the weekend: ‘Really autumn’

The first official frost of autumn has been measured today. In De Bilt it became -0.1 degrees just after 10:00 am. That is later than usual: on average, the temperature at the measuring station drops below zero for the first time on 3 November. On Sunday there is a small chance of a few flakes of snow locally, after that the wintry weather is over.
