Dread XP has published the first teaser for the video game based on Creepshow.
Creepshow is a franchise that began in 1982 with a film directed by George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead) and written by Stephen King that was made up of five horror stories with touches of comedy.
AMC, owner of the rights to the film, announced in September 2022 an agreement with the horror game publisher to develop a title based on this license.
Like the original film, the video game will be a compendium of horror games, which this time will have various indie developers in charge of each fragment. The creative director of the project will be Brian Clarke (The Mortuary Assistant).
This format is no stranger to DreadXP, which in recent years has published a multitude of horror game compilations under the name Dread X Collection
Creepshow will be released on “multiple platforms” in 2024.
