Flynas, the Saudi air carrier and low-cost airline, announced the resumption of its direct flights to the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, starting yesterday, Friday, in cooperation with the Air Connectivity Program (ACP), in the latest addition to Flynas’ growing network of international destinations.
Three weekly flights will connect Baghdad with Jeddah on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This adds a new direct line linking the Kingdom and Iraq, and facilitates air travel for pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors between the two countries.
Through its partnership with the Air Connect Program, Flynas launches direct flights to many international destinations. This is to facilitate the arrival of tourists, businessmen and pilgrims to the Kingdom, according to the Saudi News Agency “SPA”.
It is noteworthy that Flynas is the first Saudi air carrier to resume its flights between the Kingdom and Iraq in 2017 after a 27-year hiatus, and last April it relaunched its direct route between Jeddah and Erbil. To provide more suitable options for air travel, with two flights per week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
