FNV announces strike for garbage collectors and boas, later possibly also other municipal officials

Municipal officials will stop working at the end of this month in order to enforce a better collective labor agreement. This is reported by the trade union FNV, after the ultimatum it had submitted to the Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNG) has expired today. The main focus of the strike will initially be on cleaning services and enforcement, FNV director Marieke Manschot says.
