The Lebanese Football Association postponed all its activities on Tuesday, including the first division league championship, due to “the current situation the country is going through,” amid an unprecedented escalation since Hezbollah and Israel began exchanging fire about a year ago.
The Federation indicated in its circular that all matches have been postponed, saying, “In light of the current situation the country is going through, the Executive Committee of the Lebanese Football Federation has decided to postpone matches in all tournaments to a date to be determined later.”
The tournament started last week, with only the first stage of the first round being held.
