- ‘Nandi’ starring Naresh
- Varalakshmi Sarathkumar played a key role
- Vijay Kanakamedala, the director who hit with the first film
Speaking on the occasion, producer Dil Raju said that for the first time in his career, he had set up the event to congratulate the team for watching the film, regardless of whether it was related to a film or not. “Press meetings should be avoided as much as possible. If any film hits, don’t go to that film. Because, there are seven Maoist films this year. I thought I would see more.” Hence, I told him not to call me. But, this movie is what got me calling, ”said Dil Raju.
Dil Raju said that when a good film is made, it brings awards, money and respect. ‘Nandi’ has already brought profits to all the producers and distributors. However, if a good film is made above all else, that kick is no different. Dil Raju jokingly said that the film’s director Vijay had worked with him as an associate director for three films. But the story of the film was not told to him and it was not shown to him after the completion of the film. Vijay praised Confidence for achieving what he had envisioned.
“What can we say about Naresh .. we are looking from the ‘destination’. Any character will tear up. Even in our ‘Maharshi’. Naresh has all the angles. But, it is important that a director derives what he thinks is not from a technician, but from an actor. Brings a good movie name .. Brings money. I make five or six movies a year. But, when you get a good movie like this, you get a good kick, ”said Dil Raju.
“Naresh has already asked me .. sir, when is the movie with me. I said I would take the story ready immediately. I will. Success and failure are not in our hands. Hard work brings out the best in our judgment. If such a good film is hit occasionally, that kick is different, ” Dil Raju revealed.
