For the love of friends.. a bomb threat to the plane, a twist in the Spicejet incident

A phone call from an unknown person claiming that there was a bomb on the Spicejet flight from Delhi to Pune created a stir two days ago. The officials stopped the flight and checked for about 3 hours and said that there was no bomb. It was concluded that it was a fake phone call. The flight, which was supposed to leave at 9.30 pm on Thursday, left at 1.30 midnight due to this phone call. When the authorities investigated the incident, the reason for the panic came to light. It was concluded that ‘love at first sight’ was behind this incident.

What actually happened?
While SpiceJet flight SG-8938 was ready to fly from Delhi to Pune on Thursday night, the airline’s call center received a phone call. The gist of the phone call was that there was a bomb on the plane. The SpiceJet crew immediately informed the CISF. The security personnel and the police, who reached the scene, took all the passengers off the plane, took it to a deserted place and checked it thoroughly.

At the time of the incident, there were 182 passengers and crew on board. Passengers’ luggage was also thoroughly checked. No explosives were found during these inspections. Hence it was concluded that the phone call was false. Then the flight left Pune at 1.30 AM on Friday.

The authorities did not leave the case here. The investigation has been continued. The caller was identified as British Airways Trainee Ticketing Agent Abhinav Prakash (24). After that, I called him several times and he did not respond. His address was traced and he was arrested. They were shocked to hear what he said in the investigation.

Rakesh and Kunal Sehrawat are childhood friends of ticketing agent Abhinav Prakash. Rakesh and Kunal recently went on a trip to Manali. There they met two young women from Maharashtra. He fell in love with them as soon as he saw them. On Thursday, both the girls booked a ticket to Pune on a SpiceJet flight. Thought to spend some time with them in Delhi. Abhinav Prakash asked for help after making a plan to delay the flight of the young women. To help his friends, Prakash made a bomb threat call.

The plan worked out well. Kunal and Rakesh enjoyed a lot with their girlfriends. They proudly said that they themselves stopped the flight that was supposed to take off. After that they were dropped at the airport and went to Prakash’s room. The friend’s idea was praised. Three of them got beers together and had a party there.

Rakesh and Kunal fled after knowing that Prakash had been arrested by the police. Prakash said that his friends met the girls when they went on a trip to Manali. He said that he did not know when this happened. Police say that if both of them are arrested, the complete details will be known.
