During the day, the air temperature in Moscow will vary from -3 to -1 degrees, at night the thermometers will drop to -6.
In the Moscow region during the day it is expected from -5 to 0 degrees below zero, at night – up to 8 degrees below zero.
A southerly wind is forecast at a speed of 2–9 m/s.
Atmospheric pressure will be 761-764 mm Hg.
Earlier, on January 22, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist of the Meteonovosti information portal, said that Thursday, January 26, would be the coldest day in Moscow.
On January 20, the head of the METEO forecasting center, Alexander Shuvalov, in a conversation with Izvestia, noted that sunny weather and frosts down to -10 degrees are expected in Moscow next week.
Meanwhile, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said on January 21 that there would be no more severe frosts in Moscow and the rest of Central Russia in February and March, in connection with this he allowed the onset of early spring.
