Meta is one of the technological companiess that in recent months they have made the decision to significantly cut its workforce, so thousands of people around the world lost their jobs in the blink of an eye.
However, on social networks, some former Meta collaborators have shared some of their working conditions, in particular the salary they received from said company, and in recent days it is a TikTok user who has rocked the waves by revealing how much money he made at the company for “doing nothing.”
TikTok user @maddie_macho indicated that she worked 6 months for Meta in 2021 and just days after Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the next round of layoffs of more than 10,000 Meta employees, he posted a clip that raised eyebrows.
According to this woman, her annual salary at the company was $190,000 a year, for which she was paid approximately $16,000 a month. She was in the recruiting area and about the company, Maddie indicated that during that time, He did not complete any job interview.
As a mockery, the TikTok user indicated that she was constantly learning at Meta because she had many meetings with her work team, something she never understood because they did not really execute anything that was exposed in them.
“I really miss him. She was practically doing nothing. Mm, that’s good,” she added.
After this video went viral, in another clip the woman shared why she was fired from work.
According to Maddie, she uploaded a video to TikTok where she talked about the benefits that Meta gave her as an employee, something that the managers did not like and was even sanctioned for making said information public.
Subsequently, the company questioned her about other clips that she made about her work and that they did not seem “appropriate” either, which annoyed her and she preferred to resign the day before they fired her.
