In the Pugachevsky district of the Saratov region, four children and a female driver were injured as a result of an accident. The car went into a ditch, overturned and crashed into a tree.
The regional traffic police told IA Vzglyad-info that Datsun and Hyundai collided on the 17th km of the Balakovo-Dukhovnitskoye-Pugachev highway. After that, the first car with children in the cabin changed its trajectory, drove off the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver was a 55-year-old woman. She was hospitalized in a state of moderate severity.
Four children, among whom were girls aged 15, 17 and 17, and a nine-year-old boy, were examined by doctors and released for outpatient treatment, the Center for Disaster Medicine told the agency.
Earlier, on February 1, it was reported that in the Balashovsky district of the Saratov region, two people were injured as a result of a collision between a car and a truck. A Renault Magnum truck and a Volga passenger car collided.
